The Red Bank Restaurant is delighted to welcome guests to dine at its outdoor terrace from 9th June 2021. Overlooking the River Shannon in the picturesque surrounds of Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, guests dining on the terrace can enjoy warm hospitality and quality casual dining, complemented by carefully selected wines, craft beers and a vast cocktail menu.
Head Chef Michelle McGowan creates innovative dishes catering to all dietary requirements using seasonal ingredients sourced through local producers in Leitrim, Sligo and surrounding counties. These include beef from Gilligan’s Farm, Roscommon; pork from Andarl Farm, Galway; fish from Joe Garvin’s Fish Sales, Mayo; chicken from Gannon’s Poultry, Leitrim; goat’s cheese from Leitrim Hill Goat’s Cheese and artisan cheeses from Dozio Cheese, Mayo.
Guests can expect delicious fresh West coast fish dishes, melt-in-the-mouth Silverhill Duck leg, hearty Buffalo Burgers, Leitrim Hill Goat’s Cheese and much more. Craft beers are from The Reel Deel Brewery in Crossmolina, Co. Mayo while guests can also enjoy a wide range of cocktails, some of which are made using Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin and Sausage Tree Vodka from The Shed Distillery in nearby Drumshanbo.

The Red Bank Restaurant, Carrick-On-Shannon, Co Leitrim will open for dining on its Outdoor Terrace Wednesday & Thursday, 5pm – 9pm; Friday & Saturday, 4pm – 9pm; Sunday, 2pm – 8pm; closed Monday and Tuesday. The Red Bank Restaurant will revert to more extended hours once they reopen for indoor dining.
