Every Thursday from 10am – 2pm in the Market Yard, Carrick on Shannon.
Supporting your Farmers Markets means supporting your Community. You can meet and talk to all the producers of local and seasonal organic foods.
Locally produced food is fresher – so it should taste better and have improved nutrient levels.
They will have all the seasonal sights and smells that make up this famous and free event. There will be talks and tours from the apple experts like Phil Wheal, with craft demos, weaving and wood carving, not to mention the centre piece of apple pressing. Browse the stalls of the bustling sustainable craft market.
This year they are also delighted to be also joined by the Leitrim Hawthorn Project with demos walks and entertainment. Click here to find out more about this project.https://www.rte.ie/radio/radio1/clips/22253185/
There will be plenty for the family to enjoy, plus all things apple on the menu with Matt at the Grass Roof Cafe.
If you have would like to be a stall holder: email info@theorganiccentre.ie
