Very appreciated by locals and visitors alike, St. George’s Terrace Restaurant in Leitrim’s main county town, has been included in the Top 100 best places to eat in Ireland by The Irish Times.
St George’s Terrace Restaurant is set in an gorgeous Victorian building with stunning vistas of the river Shannon. The building – initially home to a local bank – is now divided into beautifully decorated and intimate dining rooms, a classic bar with terrace. The restaurant also has it’s very own, dedicated cookery school.

Included in the “Destination plates” category, St. George’s Terrace is the brain child of Siobahn Smyth (owner and restaurant manager) and Dave Fitzgibbon (chef and owner). They’ve combined their individual experiences of working in luxury hotels around the world and working in fine dining and Michelin star awarded restaurants at an international level, respectively.
