We invite you to join us to sustainably traverse Leitrim’s green landscapes, celebrate our food culture, and meet the dedicated people bringing authentic food to your plates. To support our mission to be more sustainable, please consider low-carbon distribution approaches to your travel.

Our visitors and sustainability enthusiasts can travel the trail at your own pace, spending as much or as little time as you want at each location. Innovatively, we link the trail with the TFI Local Link rural bus service and timetable and slow transport options (bicycle and even by water) so that carbon can be reduced. This fits well with Leitrim’s focus as Ireland’s slow adventure capital of Ireland.
