Bluebell Organic Farm
Mary has been farming organically since 1998 and is certified by the Irish Organic Association. She is committed to producing good, sustainable and ethically grown food,good for people and good for the environment. Bluebell Organic Farm is home to 200 organic hens which range outside and 22 sheep grazing the delicious Leitrim grass. The jams and chutneys are made from home grown fruit and organic sugar and citrus fruit. The baking and savoury dishes are all made with organic ingredients and as local as possible.
Picture an idyllic renovated cottage situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Leitrim with a lively kitchen cooking up the best of country savoury and sweet delights. You have landed at Bluebell Organic Farm. There is nothing Mary can’t effortlessly cook. Inspired by her famous grandmother (author of Encyclopedie Culinaire Quillet). Mary makes a scrumptious variety of tasty organic quiches with her own organic eggs, hearty soups, mouth-watering lasagnes, cakes, plum puddings, organic preserves, chutneys, pestos, biscuits and breads. Gluten, wheat dairy free options are available on request. All food is certified organic and made to order.
