The Boxty Making Competition was part of The Leitrim Boxty Festival. 8 contestants took part in the competition which was held in The Food Hub, Drumshanbo. Pixel Dust was there to capture the atmosphere in this fantastic video.
The inaugural Leitrim Boxty Festival took place on October 19th, 2019 in The Dock Arts Centre, Carrick-on-Shannon. It was a celebration of Boxty, a food which originates from Leitrim. There was something for all ages to enjoy including art workshops, folklore, music, dance, boxty making and of course boxty tasting.
