As far as years go 2020 has been a strange one, to say the least. On a positive note it has made us explore and embrace the area that we live and work in, and we are blessed to be in beautiful Leitrim.
This year people are holidaying here in Ireland and we wanted to do something different to promote Leitrim’s quite special food offerings. So, we sent John, our film maker, on the road to various locations to find out more about the people behind our restaurants and food businesses and the wonderful food they serve. We also found out how they have adapted to cope with the new regulations.
When you Taste Leitrim, you taste the world. With many of the restaurants and cafes drawing inspiration from world cuisine in their menus. While many of our chefs are from Leitrim, others have come from far and wide to make Leitrim their home.
